Terms of Use

Last updated: 21 August 2026

By downloading or using Somne you agree to these terms. Somne is published by Mete Erdal Köroğlu.

Licence

You get a personal, non-transferable licence to use Somne on Apple devices you own or control, under the terms of Apple's Licensed Application End User Licence Agreement, which applies in full alongside these terms. You may not resell, redistribute, decompile or reverse engineer the app.

Subscriptions and purchases

Not medical advice

Somne is a relief and habituation companion. It is not a medical device, not a treatment, not a diagnosis, and not a substitute for care from a qualified clinician. Nothing in the app or on this site should be read as a promise that your tinnitus will get quieter or go away.

See a doctor if your ringing started suddenly, is in one ear only, pulses in time with your heartbeat, or comes with hearing loss, ear pain or dizziness.

Hearing safety

Somne limits its own output and warns you as you approach that ceiling, but your device volume, your headphones and how long you listen are outside our control. Masking should sit just below your ring, never above it. Prolonged listening at high volume can damage hearing. You are responsible for the level you choose.

Your content

Your sound profile, ratings and notes stay on your device. We do not access them, and we cannot recover them for you if the device or the app is deleted.

Availability and changes

The app is provided as is. Features may change between versions, and content may be added or revised. We may update these terms; the date at the top changes when we do.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of Somne. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye.
